In this case 'Finn' refers to Finn Morgan, who you may know as 'the guy that did Sprite Lamp', 'the Snake Hill Games guy', or 'the tall programming teacher from AIE Melbourne that always wears flannel and talks about tech art'.

There's also a chance you know me because we talked at a conference or something! Please enjoy my slightly-less-incomplete-than-before LinkedIn profile if that's your thing.

Things that exist here so far include:

• A quick rundown of Screw Turn, a game project in its early days that I'm chipping away on right now.
• Some resources about making a game from scratch, mentioned in a talk I gave at IGDA Melbourne in August 2025.
• A tutorial I wrote about getting to step 1 in OpenGL (which is linked from the above). This is handy if you've looked longingly at OpenGL tutorials but are not sure how to get all the pieces assembled.
• A writeup and gallery of everything I've ever drawn for Inktober and very close to everything I've ever drawn, full stop.
• Snake Hill Downhill, a goofy game I made for a game jam a few years ago. This version will run on Windows. The game isn't really finished, but it's kind of fun anyway. I promise it's not malware, but then, I would say that.
• Videos of talks I've given at various conferences and stuff.

I also have this rad gif of a dynamically lit tapir I made.

There are some more things I'm planning to put here in the future, too:

• New projects and stuff
• Eventually I'd like to move all the blog posts over from my old Snake Hill Games website, which stretches way back to ColourBind, Sprite Lamp, and Sun Shy (sadly on hiatus at the moment).
• I might make some effort to make the page look less lofi and programmery, but no guarantees.
• Some more general/beginner guidance about game development - probably mostly from the perspective of making things from scratch.
• Some more specific/specialised gamedev content, including overfocus on the intricacies of low-poly cone rendering
• Puns about being 'lost in the source' that won't work with rhotic accents

Big things are coming maybe.
